Kaitlyn Wenzel, raised in the Queen City of Helena, Montana, has been dancing for 15 years. Prior to serving as a Captain of the inaugural Carroll College Competitive Dance Team, Kaitlyn was a Company Dancer with Queen City Ballet. During her time with QCBC, Kaitlyn performed leading roles such as “Alice” and “The Red Queen” in Alice in Wonderland, and “Clara” and “The Snow Queen” in The Nutcracker. She traveled across the country competing in prestigious dance competitions such as the Universal Ballet Competition, earning over $10,000 in cash scholarship, trained during summers at intensives at distinguished schools such as the Orlando Ballet School and Ballet West Academy, graduated with Honors from the National Honor Society of Dance Arts, and received the Queen City Ballet Award of Excellence from QCBC Artistic Director, Campbell Midgley. She occasionally returns to the stage as a featured guest artist, her most recent role being the “Arabian Dancer” in Queen City Ballet’s 22nd annual production of The Nutcracker.
