HELENA, Mont.  The Frontier Conference has announced its third edition of the 2026 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week following competition from Sept. 18-19. Carroll College Senior Oliver Morris was named the Men's Runner of the Week.

Morris was the top NAIA finisher at the NCAA Division I Montana Invitational meet, hosted by the University of Montana on Sept. 18.

He completed the 8-kilometer race in 25 minutes, 38.3 seconds, placing 16th overall among 102 runners.

Morris' performance led Carroll against a strong field featuring both NCAA and NAIA competition, as the No. 19-ranked Saints finished seventh as a team.

This is Morris' first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Runner-of-the-Week honor, and he becomes the first Saint since Zack Gacnik in September of 2025 to garner the weekly honor.

Morris and the Saints will hit the course again on Thursday, competing in the Butte Invitational, hosted by Montana Tech at 3:30 p.m.
