Azusa, Cali. – Saints Track & Field put together another strong weekend between the Bryan Clay Multis at Azusa Pacific University and the Digger Spring Series #2 Meet in Butte, Mont.
Carson Krack and
Tucker Monaco leapt to the top of the NAIA in the Decathlon, scoring 7526 and 7069 respectively. Krack's mark set a new school record and placed him 6
th overall at the Bryan Clay Multis, a meet filled with elite collegiate and professional athletes. Both men set personal records on Day 1 and overall with each notching 5 lifetime bests across the individual events, and they now sit 1
st and 2
nd in the NAIA. The high marks will earn them a trip to the National Outdoor Championships in late May.
"These guys really showed up," said Head Coach Harry Clark. "It was such a great weekend and really fun to watch them compete so well!" he added.

Back home at the Digger Spring Series, The Saints secured multiple Top 3 finishes and personal records despite a lightning delay that interrupted the meet and led to the cancellation of the Men's 10,000 partway through the race.
In the throwing events,
Hunter Gum had another solid meet placing 2
nd in the Discus with a personal record and 3
rd in the Shot Put.
Abigail McBeain also had another great weekend with a personal record and 3
rd Place finish in the Discus and 2
nd Place in the Shot Put in a season's best that moved her into the Top 25 in the NAIA. Several other athletes threw lifetime bests:
Christian Wolfe (Hammer), Rex VanHees (Shot Put), and
Grace Horner (Discus).
In the jumps,
Katelyn Christensen continued a steady season with a personal record in the Long Jump that placed her 3
rd. Gabby Domenici (High Jump),
Karson Thomas (Long Jump, Triple Jump),
Anna Hume (Triple Jump), and
Michenna George (Triple Jump) placed Top 3, and
Jake Jamieson set a lifetime best in the Long Jump.
Across running events, multiple competitors placed in the Top 3:
Addy Martin (200m),
Jayna Boonstra (10,000m),
Ariel Brewer (3000m), and
Amelia Mayes (3000m).
Ryah O'Dell won the 10,000m in her debut, placing herself Top 25 Nationally. The Women's 4x800m Relay ran their best time of 2026, less than 5 seconds off of the NAIA Qualifying Standard and currently in the Top 5 Nationally. The Men's 4x800m Relay time places them in the Top 10 Nationally.
