HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has announced the second edition of the 2026 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week awards. Carroll College senior Reuben Hornby was recognized as the Frontier Conference Field Athlete of the Week.

Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Reuben Hornby, Carroll

Hornby, a senior from Kalispell, Mont., was selected as the Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

The 2025 All-American picked up right where he left off, setting the Carroll javelin school record with a throw of 67.55 meters (221 feet, 7 inches) at the Al Manuel Invitational in Missoula.

His javelin mark is an NAIA 'A' automatic qualifying mark and currently leads both the Frontier Conference and the NAIA.  The senior finished third in the event behind a pair of NCAA Division I javelin throwers from Montana, and was the top NAIA finisher in the event.

This is Hornby's first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field weekly honor.
