HELENA, Mont. - After a long winter's break, the Carroll College Golf teams are back in action for the spring portion of their wrap-around schedule, competing at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division II Winona State (Minn.) at the Legacy Golf Club.

Competing as the lone NAIA school in a field full of NCAA Division II competition, the Fighting Saints will look to get back into form in their first official tournament since September. Teams from throughout the country, and even Canada scatter the field, including Winona State, Jamestown (N.D.), Eastern Wyoming, UBC Okanagan (Can.), Quincy (Ill.), UT Dallas, Missouri Southern, Northwest Nazarene (Idaho), Saint Martin's (Wash.), Our Lady of the Lake (Texas), and Illinois-Springfield.

A total of 13 Carroll golfers, six Women and seven Men, will hit the Legacy Club in Henderson, Nev. over the next two days in the standard five-score-four format. Stella Claridge (Kalispell, Mont. / SR), Addison Slivinski (Montpelier, Idaho / FR), Alli Stastny (Murtaugh, Idaho / SO), Ellie Stastny (Murtaugh, Idaho / SO), Kate Williams (Portland, Ore. / JR), and Maddy Olson (Spokane, Wash. / JR) are the Women representing the Saints, while TJ Fierling (North Bend, Wash. / JR), JT Slivinski (Montpelier, Idaho / JR), Jackson Hammond (Flagstaff, Ariz. / JR), Hudson Reinke (Filer, Idaho / SO), Tanner Cromwell (Anaconda, Mont. / SO), and Sully Claridge (Kalispell, Mont. / FR) are the Men in the desert.

The Women's tournament will consist of 18 holes each day, while the Men will play 36 holes on Wednesday, then one final round on Thursday.
