Carroll Women Finish Third, Men Fifth at CC Classic

10/06/26 | 4:09 PM

HELENA, Mont. - Both the Carroll Golf teams made up ground on the final day of the 2026 Carroll College Classic, with the Women finishing third and the Men fifth on Tuesday at Bill Roberts Golf Course.

Both the Women and Men wrapped up play at their lone home tournament of the season, each posting their best team scores of the season en route to their second-consecutive third and fifth-place finishes.

Led by a final round 76 by Alli Stastny (Murtaugh, Idaho / JR), the Carroll Women leapfrogged Dickinson State for a third place team finish. Stastny's four-over final round secured her a share of 10th place in the individual competition at +13 (81-76). Ellie Stastny (Murtaugh, Idaho / JR) finished 14th, firing rounds of 80-78 to finish one shot back of her sister. Addison Slivinski (Montpelier, Idaho / SO) shot a final round 80 to finish 15th at +15, while Jordan Nielsen (Billings, Mont. / FR) went 78-83 for a 19th-place finish at +17.

Rocky Mountain College won the team competition, finishing at +27, followed by Bellevue at +30 and Carroll at +59. Rocky's Natasza Klimko backed up her opening round 66 with a one-under round of 71 to win individual medalist honors.

The Carroll Men made up some ground on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough to surpass Providence and move into fourth place. The Saints finished the week at +24, 20-strokes better than their last total at BRGC in 2024.

TJ Fierling (North Bend, Wash. / SR) led the charge for the Men on the week, finishing tied for 17th with a three-round total of +4 (76-70-74). JT Slivinski (Montpelier, Idaho / SR) was the next lowest Saint on the week, finishing in a tie for 23rd at +8 (80-69-75). Kyle Kennah (Laurel, Mont. / JR) wrapped up the week in 26th, shooting bookend rounds of 74-78-74 (+10). Hudson Reinke (Filer, Idaho / JR) rounded out the Carroll scoring with the round of the day. Reinke finished one shot back of Kennah at +11 for the week, thanks in large part to an even-par round of 72 on Tuesday (77-78-72).

Bellevue won the Men's team competition, shooting a tournament-record -36 over three rounds, highlighted by three players tied for second in the individual competition. Montana Tech's Tyler Avery won individual medalist honors, going 68-67-69 to finish at 12-under.

The Saints will have a break before their next event, on October 27-28, the Battle at Bremerton hosted by OUAZ.
