Saints Finish Fall Season in Seattle

10/28/26 | 2:34 AM

BREMERTON, Wash. - The Carroll College Golf teams officially put a bow on the fall portion of their wrap around schedule on Tuesday, finishing play at the 2026 Battle at Bremerton, hosted by OUAZ at the Gold Mountain Golf Club.

While the Carroll Men were unable to advance their position in Tuesday's final round with a 15th-place team finish, some strong play down the stretch helped the Carroll Women edge out several other NAIA teams for eighth-place in their team competition.

A late charge saw the Fighting Saints push past both The Master's (Calif.) and Simpson (Calif.) over the final two holes, as Carroll edged-out the Redhawks by just one stroke on the Women's side of the action.

While Ellie Stastny (Murtaugh, Idaho / JR) and Jordan Nielsen (Billings, Mont. / FR) led Carroll with matching final round 80's, it was Alli Stastny (Murtaugh, Idaho / JR) who was the strongest Saint of the week with a 32nd-place finish in the individual competition (78-79-82). Ellie Stastny was second on the week, finishing in 41st with rounds of 81-86-80 that saw a critical birdie on her final hole, while Nielsen also secured a top-50 finish with rounds of 87-87-80. Addison Slivinski (Montpelier, Idaho / SO) shot 91-83-88 over three rounds, and like Stastny, provided a clutch birdie at the end. Maddy Olson (Spokane, Wash. / SR) went 93-90-92 to round out the Carroll team scores, while Kate Williams (Portland, Ore. / SR) finished 91-95-94 as an individual.

Tanner Cromwell (Anaconda, Mont. / JR) paced the Saints in Men's action, finishing in 62nd with rounds of 84-76-76, carding four birdies in his final round. Hudson Reinke (Filer, Idaho / JR) shot 77-79-82 over his three rounds for a 72nd-place finish, while TJ Fierling (North Bend, Wash. / SR) finished one stroke back on the week with rounds of 81-79-79. Kyle Kennah (Laurel, Mont. / JR) went 82-79-89 and JT Slivinski (Montpelier, Idaho / SR) went 83-84-85 to finish within one spot on the leaderboard as well. Carter VanDyken (Bozeman, Mont. / FR) improved each round of his first collegiate action, shooting 94-87-83 while competing solely as an individual all week.

The Saints will now head indoors for some simulator work this winter, looking to get the swings dialed-in for their spring schedule, set to begin in March at another one of the Pacific Northwest's top tracks, Ghost Creek at Pumpkin Ridge as part of the Pacific Invitational.
