Helena, Mont. – Saints Track & Field will send a large group back to the Kennedy-Stark Athletic Center (KSAC) in Bozeman, Mont. on Friday January 30 for the first of two meets in the Digger Winter Series.
For the men, 21 athletes will compete. This will include season debuts for previous individual National Qualifiers Zack Gacnik (5000m) and Brycen Gardner (5000m). Several athletes will compete for the first time on the track or field as Saints: Karson Thomas (Long Jump, Triple Jump), Oren Arthun (600m), Harper Churape (600m), Conrad Schruth (5000m), Logan Anderson (5000m), and Eli Highness (5000m).
On the women's side, 29 athletes will travel to Bozeman. The group will be headlined by Brynn Wandle who competed at Nationals last spring in the Pole Vault. Multiple women will debut for Carroll: Macee May (Long Jump, Triple Jump), Olivia Maunu (Shot Put), Hannah Schoen (Shot Put), Faye Holland (600m), Ariel Brewer (600m), Emma Horspool (600m), Anna Sawfer (600m), Claire Boutilier (600m), Jayna Boonstra (5000m), and Ryah O'Dell (5000m).
Door will open at the KSAC at 5:30 pm with the first gun for running events at 6:15 pm and field events beginning at 6:30 pm.
