Strong Start for Track & Field Saints at Bobcat Challenge

01/25/26 | 2:22 PM

Bozeman, Mont. – Saints Track & Field moved multiple athletes into the National Top 16 in the multi-events at the Bobcat Challenge in Bozeman, Mont. on Friday January 23 and Saturday January 24.

Carson Krack won the Men's Heptathlon with Tucker Monaco placing 3rd. The scores place Krack 2nd in the NAIA and Monaco 13th, which means both would currently be invited to the NAIA Indoor Championships (Top 16 declared at the end of the season). Krack's score of 5188 was a personal record, and it moves him to second on Carroll's All-Time Lists for the Heptathlon.

All three Carroll women (Katelyn Christensen, Gabriella Domenici, Anna Hume) set personal records in the Pentathlon. Christensen's score places her 14th Nationally in the event and moves her into 3rd All-Time at Carroll. Domenici's score bumped her up to 4th on Carroll's lists.

"It was a great opener for this group of individuals and gives us momentum for the next few weeks when our full team will compete," said Head Coach Harry Clark. "We're excited to add several athletes to our list for Nationals and to try to keep growing that number the rest of indoor season," he added.
