Carroll Men Earn PLATFORM Golf Team Presidents Special Recognition

NORMAN, Okla. – The 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The Carroll Men's Golf team has been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements in the 2024-25 academic year.

The Fighting Saints continued a growing list of Carroll teams honored by their respective coaches associations for academic pursuits, being recognized among the Top-10 in the NAIA for team GPA.
 
Above the Team Academic Award, Carroll was named one of just nine schools in the NAIA who earned the Presidents Special Recognition, a title reserved for teams with a 3.5 or better GPA.

The Saints had one of their best academic years on record last season, posting a team-wide 3.64 GPA, leading all Men's sports at the institution. 

Carroll was the only Frontier Conference school to be recognized.
 
A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award. 129 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above.
