KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the member institutions who have achieved Champions of Character Five Star designations. Carroll College has been named an NAIA Champions of Character Gold Five-Star Award Winner for the 2024-25 academic year.

The inaugural NAIA School of Character, Carroll, has yet again been named an NAIA Champions of Character Gold Five-Star Institution.

The Gold designation signifies the highest groupings of score attainable, continuing a long-running trend of Gold honors for the Fighting Saints.

Carroll College, as has been the case for many years, once again earned a perfect 100 score on the Champions of Character scorecard.

For the second-straight year the Fighting Saints will appear on the national ballot as the Frontier Conference's School of Character, continuing to model excellence in all that they do.

In total, 210 member institutions were named Champions of Character® Five-Star Award winners for 2024-25.

Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by having minimal to no ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.
