KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for Fall Sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the Fall Sports who have excelled academically including Football, Men's Cross Country, Men's Soccer, Women's Cross Country, Women's Soccer and Women's Volleyball. In total, 83 student-athletes from Carroll College were recognized for the top academic honor the NAIA annually awards.
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.
In competition, in the community, and in the classroom - the Fighting Saints continue to raise the bar.
One year removed from Carroll seeing 78 Fall Sport honorees in '24, the institution saw a new school record for Fall Sport Scholar-Athletes, as 83 Fighting Saints have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
Of the 172 Carroll student-athletes who were eligible for nomination, an astonishing 48 percent met the qualifications for the NAIA's top academic honor - speaking to the true quality of Carroll's student-athlete population.
Split between two difference conferences (Frontier Conference - FB, VB, XC / Cascade Collegiate Conference - MSOC, WSOC), Carroll student-athletes once again proved why they are considered among the best in the nation, excelling both on the field and in the classroom.
The Saints were once again leaders amongst Frontier Conference institutions, matching Dickinson State with a total of 56 fall sport Scholar-Athletes. The Carroll Soccer teams were prominently featured in the CCC, with 27 Scholar-Athlete selections from the two teams.
