HELENA, Mont. - The Frontier Conference has announced the winners of their weekly awards. Isabelle Ruff has been named the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Isabelle Ruff is a Freshman from Concord, Calif.

Ruff placed 45 in the field of 94 at the Montana Open, a race that featured a number of NCAA Division I opponents.

Ruff was the top finisher from the NAIA during the race in Missoula. She completed the 5-kilometers in 19:19 to help Carroll finish as the top NAIA team at the meet.

In her first two collegiate events, Ruff has paced the Carroll women in each.

This marks the first time on the year that a Carroll student-athlete has garnered the Cross Country Runner of the Week honors.

Ruff and the Saints have a break in the action, with time to prepare before their next event in Billings on October 6 at the Yellowjackets / Battlin' Bears Open.
