KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes from nearly 120 schools with close to 350 total student-athletes selected for their academic achievements. Carroll College had two student-athletes recognized for their achievements in the classroom this season.
Echo Anderson (Post Falls, Idaho / JR) and Megan Baxter (Thompson Falls, Mont. / SO) were both named 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes.
"Megan and Echo are great role models in our program and do a great job focusing on academics while competing on the course." Said Head Coach Ben MacIntyre.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
