WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced the winners of its weekly awards on Monday. Garrett Kocab and Paige Baxstresser of Carroll College were selected the Erck Hotels/ Frontier Conference Men's Outdoor Field, and Women's Track Athletes of the Week.  

Kocab, a senior from Phelan, Calif., is the field athlete of the week. At the Trudnowski Open hosted by Carroll College in Helena, Mont.; he won both the discus (55.49 meters) and shot put (15.38 meters) with NAIA-A standard throws. His discus throw is a personal record, program record, and now first in the NAIA.

Baxstresser, a senior from San Luis Obispo, Calif., is the track athlete of the week.  At the Trudnowski Open hosted by Carroll College in Helena, Mont.; she won the  200-meter (25.65) and 400-meter (58.32).
