WHITEFISH, Mont. -- Two Carroll Track & Field Athletes, Nikki Krueger and Chad Hemsley, were recognized by the Frontier Conference on Monday for their performances at the Al Manuel Northwest Invitational in Missoula, Mont.

Nikki Krueger, a junior from Kalispell, Mont., was voted Frontier Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week. Krueger took first in the shot put with a throw of 13.44 meters at the Al Manuel Invite, qualifying her for nationals. 

Chad Hemsley, a sophomore from Kalispell, Mont., was selected as the Frontier Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week. Hemsley finished first in the 400m Hurdles at the Al Manuel Invite with a time of 56.49.
