Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week:  Carson Krack, Carroll

Krack, a sophomore from Whitefish, Mont., was named the Field Athlete of the Week.

In a highly-impressive effort this past weekend, Krack set three personal records (shot put, pole vault, and 60-meter hurdles) as well as one season best (high jump) across seven events en route to an overall lifetime best in the heptathlon at the Riverfront Invitational and Multi's for Carroll.

Krack put together a total of 5,400 points to earn a runner-up honor in the meet that featured competitors from NCAA Divisions I and II.  He leads the Frontier Conference's heptathlon and now ranks second in the NAIA, well on his way to earning one of 16 spots at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships early next month.

This is Krack's second career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week.
