Kevin Sheahan was a four-year defensive end from 1993-96. He garnered three all-conference selections and was a two-time All-American.
As a freshman, Sheahan achieved 46 total tackles (29 solo, 17 assists), three sacks and two fumble recoveries. In 1995, the 6-foot-2, 265-pound Sheahan was voted honorable mention All-American.
His senior year, he compiled 89 tackles, 14 sacks, 14 quarterback hurries and three blocked passes. The Saints again qualified for the national playoffs. Sheahan was named Frontier Defensive MVP and a second team NAIA All-American.
He went on to play for the Detroit Lions and the NFL Europe’s Amsterdam Admirals.
“Kevin Sheahan was the best defensive lineman I’ve seen during my time at Carroll,” said longtime Saints’ assistant coach Steve Jones.
