Drew Peterson played just two seasons for the Carroll basketball team, in 1992-93, and 1993-94, but led the team in scoring and made first-team all-conference both years. His junior season, he averaged 18.4 points and was second on the team with 5.6 rebounds per game. Peterson shot .829 from the free-throw line and .455 from the field. He was third on the team in assists (56), steals (28) and blocks (seven). As a senior, he averaged 22.5 points and 5.2 rebounds. Peterson still holds three school records: 20 free throws attempted in a game, 18 free throws made in a game and 208 free throws made in a season. Peterson is currently the CEO and major share holder of Veracity networks in Utah. “Drew could score from both outside and inside. He could either hit the 3-pointer, or we’d run him inside and he’d score at the post,” said former Saints coach Gary Turcott. “There were very few players in the league that could defend him.”
