ATLANTA – The Women's Basketball Coaches' Association released their annual Academic Top 25 and the Carroll College women's basketball team were ranked No. 23 in the NAIA with a 3.421 GPA.
The Saints were ranked third among Frontier Conference teams behind Lewis-Clark State who finished eighth with a 3.562 GPA and MSU-Northern who tallied a 3.556 for a No. 9 ranking.
The University of Great Falls finished just behind Carroll at No. 24 with a 3.404 GPA to round out the Frontier Conference Representation.
The four teams in the poll were also the four teams that represented the conference in the NAIA National Championship in Independence, Mo.
The Carroll women finished the season with a conference-high 10 members of the Academic All-Conference team and senior
Katie Estey was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
