WHITEFISH, Mont. – Carroll College Sports Information Director Jerek Wolcott was named the Frontier Conference Nominee for NAIA SID of the Year, the league announced Thursday.
 
In his second year at Carroll, Wolcott worked as the media coordinator for the Frontier Conference volleyball and golf championships. He also attended four NAIA National Championships where he distributed photos and video for use by media outlets and schools across the conference.
 
Wolcott is a Libby native and a University of Montana graduate. He came to Carroll in the fall of 2014 after working as the Assistant Director of Media Relations at Idaho State Athletics.
 
Since joining Carroll, he helped develop and launch CarrollAthletics.com which was named the best website in the NAIA-SIDA Publication contest for 2014-15.
 
Each of the 16 NAIA Conferences nominate one SID for the award.  Last year's winner was Brad Cygan from Missouri Baptist University of the American Midwest Conference.
