Final Standings
HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll College women's track and field and cross country programs finished third in the first-ever U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NAIA Program of the Year standings.
The Saints finished with a total of 20 points, just behind Biola (Calif.) and Aquinas (Mich.) who finished with 19 points in a tie for first.
The standings built with the team finishes in cross country, indoor and outdoor track.
Carroll finished fifth in cross country, eighth in indoor track and seventh in outdoor track. Biola was awarded the program of the year over Aquinas because they finished higher in two of the three championships.
Lewis-Clark State finished in 16th overall and is the only other Frontier Conference school on the list.
The Carroll men finished 11th in the standings. The Saints were eighth in cross country, and ninth in outdoor but struggled in indoor because of redshirting athletes. Lewis-Clark earned a seventh-place finish in the men's standings and again is the only other Frontier Conference program in the rankings.
