KANSAS CITY – The Carroll College women's basketball team dropped three spots to No. 24 in the NAIA DI Women's Basketball Coaches Postseason Top 25 Poll release by the association today.
The Saints fell to Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) 51-44 in the first round of the NAIA Championship in Independence, Mo., but ended the season with a 22-9 record.
Carroll opened the season with 11 consecutive victories, including wins against No. 3 Westmont and No. 9 The Master's.
Two Saints,
Katie Estey and
Cassidy Hashley, earned All-American honors. Estey was named to the AA Third-Team and Hashley received Honorable Mention honors.
